Brno City Bombardment

Last year, to accompany the exposition „Aerial War – target Brno“, T-MAPY created an application that maps places that were subject to shelling by USA and USSR air raids in years 1944–1945.

The application was recently updated with the results of ongoing research of these historical events. Sixty new locations of air raids were added to the map as well as 859 previously unreleased photographs. Additionally, location of numerous places of air attacks were made more accurate. Currently the application marks 1256 places that were hit by shelling and 1719 historical images.
